Born in Brooklyn
Founded by Dolores Murat-Etienne to bridge employment help, health fairs, and the music of home — broadcasting from the heart of Brooklyn.
DodorVibe FM is more than a radio station — it’s a 24/7 cultural bridge between Haiti, the diaspora, and the rest of the world. Built by Haitians, powered by community, soundtracked by the rhythms that raised us.
We exist to amplify Haitian voices, celebrate Caribbean sound, and connect the dyaspora wherever life has taken them. From morning blessings to late-night zouk sets, our programming is curated by people who live the culture — not algorithms. Every show, every selector, every spoken word is a love letter back to Ayiti.
Dodor is a familiar Haitian term of endearment — the kind of name a grandmother calls you when she’s proud. Vibe is the frequency we move on: warm, rooted, unapologetically Caribbean. Put them together and you get a station that feels like family the moment you press play.
Our motto says it plain: “Beats educate, minds enlighten.” Music is the door — culture, news, faith, business, health, and dyaspora storytelling are what’s waiting on the other side.

Amplifying the dyaspora's loudest voices, championing local artists, and telling the stories the mainstream ignores.
Zero algorithm loops. Every broadcast is anchored by real personalities who know the room and respect the culture.
From Port-au-Prince to Brooklyn—and anywhere with a connection. The dyaspora will always have a home frequency.
DodorVibe FM broadcasts from studios and contributors across Haiti and the U.S., reaching listeners on every continent through web, mobile, and our dedicated app.
Long before DodorVibe FM had a frequency, founder Dolores Murat-Etienne was already on the ground in Brooklyn through Dodor Services — helping Haitians navigate employment, health, immigration, and small business in a new country.
DodorVibe FM grew out of that work. The station is the cultural arm of a mission that has always been the same: meet the community where it is, in the language it speaks, with the music it loves — and walk with it toward something better.
