Born in Paris, France, of Haitian parents Pascal Antoine immigrated to the United States at the age of 2. To help him maintain his French, and learn about his Haitian heritage, his mother eventually enrolled him in the Bilingual Center where he graduated as Valedictorian of the school’s first graduating class.
Soon after, he went on to Stuyvesant High School, and eventually got accepted, and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Visual Science.
Since 1992, Pascal has used his blend of content management, information architecture and user experience expertise, and technology know-how to excite audiences worldwide. Pascal started a website site called Fresh Freshness which chronicled the hip-hop music and culture that he was very into at the time His efforts caused him to be hailed as part of “the digerati” by Wired Magazine in an article reviewing hip-hop websites which had just started to stake their presence on the Internet in the early 1990’s.
Armed with a background in internet technology and a strong desire to connect the world to more accurate news and depictions of events occurring in Haiti and affecting Haitians and its descendants worldwide, after a visit to Haiti in 1999, Pascal was inspired to found the innovative HaitiXchange.com website (www.haitixchange.com http://www.haitixchange.com/) in 2001 to do just that.
Never satisfied with doing just one thing, Pascal has expanded his video production skills and has produced and directed multiple videos in Haiti and elsewhere. Pascal continues his latest adventures with work at DodoVibe FM as a communications manager and consultant helping with everything from audio/video production, website construction and management, and an on-air personality.
